The Youth Group is off and running!
LOL stands for "Love Our Lord," as well as having other whimsical meanings like "laugh out loud" and "lots of love."
 

Youth Schedule

Confirmation includes the learning and discussion that the youth must complete before they can make an affirmation of faith and enter into adulthood in the church.

Anyone in middle school and high school may attend whether they are baptized or not.  Those in confirmation class may choose whether they will be confirmed and/or baptized after they have completed their confirmation studies.

Youth Group includes service projects, fun activities, and growing in faith for youth in middle and high school.

About the Middle School Retreat in Astoria:

Youth Group Sleep-Over a Big Success!

Thirteen youth participated in the LOL Celebration Sleep-Over in May.

After a delicious dinner generously provided by KOK ladies, a 2-hour water balloon fight ensued. Games of Twister and Guitar Hero III and tying three polar fleece blankets for JOIN kept the youth busy.

We watched a movie, then more video games lasted late into the night. The next morning we woke to the smell of pancakes and bacon.
